Data Sources

We're transparent about where our cost data comes from and when it was last reviewed.

Launch cost ranges are built from blended national labor and materials benchmarks aggregated from multiple public cost references and reviewed by our cost-data team. Each cost record stores its source name, publication date, accessed date, geographic scope, confidence and last-reviewed date.

During launch, some data is clearly labeled development/demo data. We never present demo prices, contractors or reviews as verified real-world data. After a project, homeowners can optionally report what they actually paid; we store these separately and only surface aggregated insights once enough reliable samples exist.
